Torrentz.eu clone is up but you should not use it now in India

Torentz.eu is gone, probably for ever. But you know them pirates. They always find their way out. They always come back. Torrentz.eu is back, in a different avatar. But it’s close, closer to the real deal. It’s called torrentz2.eu. Call it torrentz.eu 2.0 if you may. Remember, it may be closer to the real deal, but it isn’t the real deal. It’s still a clone.

Torrentz2.eu “is a clone of Torrentz, a free, fast and powerful meta-search engine combining results from dozens of search engines,” says the service’s home page. Well, at least they are honest. The main job of torrentz2.eu is to keep the spirit of torrentz.eu alive. Only, it’s not so much a good idea to use it, for real.

  1. Torentz_euTorrentz.eu was without a doubt the greatest torrent search engine that there ever was. Torrentz2.eu could simply be a ploy to just cash in on the name of the original and serve ads to people under cover.
  2. It could be a site by cyber criminals aiming to steal user details, and then using them for nefarious acts.
  3. You know, it’s just a clone. It won’t get fresh torrents, similar to what we saw with the KAT clone. A torrent search engine without fresh search results is just meh!
  4. Great torrent sites are or become great because they have a great community. Clones don’t have the community thing going for them. If you really want to use torrents, why not use some genuine, another site. It may be a new site, may not have a great database but you can be part of the community and make it grow.
  5. Last but not the least, don’t steal. Okay, downloading films may not be something similar to stealing cars but it is not nice. You know, people behind a film spend a lot of money, energy and time to make something. Why take that away from them by downloading something off the net, for free?
